We had some concerning cracks in our basement that we wanted looked at. Corey was very knowledgeable and put us at ease with his inspection while other companies tried to scare us into $70k fixes. He was very honest and offered to come back a different day to install crack monitors for us so we can better see the movement of the walls ourselves to help us be more at ease. He offered solutions that were cost effective and encouraged us to reach out if we had any questions. I will be recommending Kent Foundation Solutions and Corey more specifically. He wasn't trying to make a sale, he genuinely has the integrity to give honest feedback without trying to sell you thousands of unneeded work. He approaches it like if this was his house, what he would do having the knowledge of the industry. A genuine guy who takes pride in his work and isn't looking to scare you into a sale like I have experienced with other companies. 100% great experience and anyone looking for foundation advice, start here if you are looking for multiple opinions because Corey gives you the information to help you during other inspections so they don't scare you into purchasing their services at the end of the inspection making it sound like you have only one option.Posted on Google![]()

The Kent team did a fabulous job with my repair project. The team handled a complex multi-story deck that other contractors could not handle. The team worked through bad Michigan weather to get the project done on time. Thanks!Posted on Google![]()

This winter we noticed excess moisture accumulating in our basement. A few referrals from friends in construction led us to Kent Foundations Solutions, who sent Corey Oleen to our home to conduct an assessment. What stood out about Corey was not only how thoroughly he inspected our property, but the time he spent reporting back to us about possible causes and remedies in clear language, free of the usual construction jargon and double-talk. Corey attributed the moisture intrusion to condensation likely due to a lack of insulation. Corey also identified settling cracks in the foundation walls, advised us to monitor the expansion rate with some inexpensive strips, and to call if things got noticeably worse in within the next year or two. He also noted finding a few expansion strips already in some of the cracks, suggesting that our foundations contractor has flagged expansion as a concern early in the building process — an important detail the prior contractor missed. Finally, Corey provided a written summary of his findings for our records. All of this without pushing to sell us an expensive foundation retrofit, as the other contractor had done. Corey’s prompt and courteous service, combined with his professionalism and expertise, is a credit to Kent Foundation Solutions. Would highly recommend this company.Posted on Google![]()

Corey came out to look at our foundation after another company came out and claimed our foundation was bowing in and we were just a month away from a cave in. Corey was very kind and took the time to explain things about our foundation to myself and my husband. He was patient with us and our questions and soothed our minds when he said that the other company significantly over exaggerated the situation and that it wasn't severe. Even though Corey is in a sales position, he didn't try to sell an unnecessary service to us and even told us how we could fix a small crack in our wall by ourselves. This situation went from $20k pushed by the other company to a simple DIY fix for about $2k. We were blown away by his honesty and know that the company has to be a good one to have workers like Corey. We will forever use and recommend Kent because of Corey's kindness, patience, and honesty.Load more
